It is our pleasure to welcome you to Wesley Gaines Elementary School. We look forward to serving the students, parents and families that make up this wonderful community. At Gaines, we have a dedicated and caring staff that will ensure that your child receives the very best education in a safe and nurturing environment.

This year, we will continue to prepare our students for 21st century citizenship by providing them with opportunities to use technology as a tool for learning. We have added two additional computer labs and new computers in every class. This will allow students to conduct research and investigate concepts across the curriculum. Students will also have access to over 2800 e-books designed to support the Common Core Standards. Our students will continue to build their writing skills as our teachers have been trained on a new expository writing program.
