Meet The Principal

Greetings Gaines School Community,  

I hope that this message finds you enjoying the rejuvenating days of summer and that you and your children are looking forward to beginning a wonderful school year together starting Monday, August 11.  

Hello, my name is Anna Yasuhara and it is with great excitement that I introduce myself as the new principal at Wesley Gaines Elementary School. I am honored to join this wonderful school community where dedication to student success, family engagement, and a nurturing learning environment are emphasized and valued.  

With my 23 years in education serving as a classroom teacher, instructional leader, and administrator, I bring an unwavering commitment to student growth, academic excellence, and a positive school culture. Together, we will support students to reach their full potential and reach new heights together. 

I am eager to begin this journey with you, and I know that with teamwork, we will accomplish great things. I look forward to seeing you at our school events.  Once school starts, I will be hosting opportunities for parents to learn more about me and our school.  We are so excited to continue serving your incredible children, families and staff at Gaines Elementary School. Let’s make it a fantastic year.
